Bridal Shower Invitation

This is the bridal shower invitation my daughter chose. The background is from DCWV "the jewel colored cardstock" that I used my Cuttlebug on; the dress is cut from the Forever Young Cricut cartidge (also Cuttlebugged) and embellished with a sheer metallic ribbon and pearl; the ovals for the "You're Invited" were cut with the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge. I was happy she chose the more simplier card since I had so many to make!

Birthday Card

This is a birthday card I made for a friend who LOVES shoes. It's hard to tell, but the background is black cardstock that I used to emboss with my Cuttlebug. The shoes were cut out using the Forever Young cartridge and glitter paper embellished with a pearl. It was super simple to make and she loved it!

Birthday Photo Album

Our computer engineer at work is having a 50th birthday and she loves tropical things. I found out someone is throwing her a surprise Hawaiian themed party, so I embellished a photo album for her to keep her memories in. The card to accompany this is the tropical drink card below.

Masculine Birthday Card

Masculine birthday cards are very hard for me - I like to make flowers better! So this is what I came up with for my boss' birthday.

Get Well Card

One of my dearest friends and co-worker is having surgery so I made her this card. The flowers, leaves, circles and envelope were cut with the Plantin cartridge and the latice border was made with a Martha Stewart punch. I used glitter glue, glitter pen and a decorative scissor cut for the embellishments.

Happy Birthday Card

I made this card for a co-worker who is turning 50. I used the Wild Card cartridge for the card, then highlighted the pineapple with chalk. I resorted to purchasing a "Happy Birthday" because for the life of me I couldn't get it to cut correctly. I also wanted a little grass shack so ended up purchasing one and replacing the "Open" sign with "AKK" which is the initials of our office. I'm really happy with how his turned out!
